Nice photo, nice gun. My personal favorite to shoot is 4 VH. My safe is downsizing, and until very recently it included 15-2, 715, 15-2 nickel, and 715 high polish, (the polished 715 was a DIY project). The nickel 15-2 was professionally done locally years ago and is the only one that I still own, it is perfect in every respect.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks, Steve, for your comment. The four inchers are a hoot to shoot. If you get some time I would like to see you post a photo of your nickel Dan. They are not that common, and I'm sure it is a sweet gun.

Same gun as post 1, but with the original 6 in. barrel. This 15-2 was over 40 years old when I purchased it last year, and it certainly shows signs of heavy use. Definitely not a "safe queen", yet it functions perfectly and still looks pretty nice.

A slightly different angle I took the same day that shows my nifty handiwork on the rear sight. I use address label edges and precisely cut out the white outline with my wife's craft scissors then peel off the backing and stick it on. This one has been on since I've owned the gun, and if it ever starts to peel away I'll just make another one. Front sight is painted with acrylic hobby paint and has also held up well for the past year.
