The middle 15â BA is the one I just received delivery of today that I bought on Proxibid last week. Â I didnât notice in the auction pics thereâs no roll marks on it. Â What does this mean? Â Is this common? Â Or rare? Â Does it indicate a manufacturing location like Monson, Palmer or Norwich built? Overall itâs not perfect, but in way better condition in person than I thought from the pics, so Iâm glad about that. Â Any input appreciated.

OfflineMy guess is if you offer a buyer a 15â DW BA and an equivalent from EWK without the roll mark, the DW would be chosen first every time. Â This leads me to believe the DW is valued higher, but due to rarity, both are close in value. Â DW will always be valued higher IMHO. Â Nonetheless, given the high quality of EWKâs BAs, Iâm happy with the $1417.42 I paid.

OfflineI sold my 15 BA, they are totally impractical, Other than bragging rights.
I find 10 to 12 inch still shootable off hand, 15 requires a rest. And honestly, I'll grab a carbine or other rifle if I need a rest or the range.
For the money, I can get a complete gun that I can actually shoot. Â
I also don't change BA's often once I get one set up on a gun that I like.
I have a decent assortment of BA's and pistol pacs, but they aren't the focus of my collection.
