Hi all ... I have a chance to get a stainless DW PM7 in .45. I have a DW 715 but not the 1911 so I'm interested. The serial number is S80xxxCZ ... stamped Dan Wesson Firearms Norwich NY ... I have to assume this is one built after CZ took over? Any idea on the age? From pics the gun looks in good condition ... I think he would take $1100 ... Good? Bad?

Thanks!

From the Serial Number Registry, it looks like 2008.

Sounds fair to me, if the pics are not deceiving. Mine is pre CZ, but I love shooting it range-time

Pretty good (but not great) price for a PM7. Pre or Post CZ really should not matter much. 1911's are generally easier to troubleshoot, modify, and tune than revolvers.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

You would be hard pressed to find a PM-7 stainless, or blue, for less than that if it's in good condition.

My PM-7S is the easiest handgun I own to shoot with super accuracy, especially at self defense distances.

buy-nowYou will not regret it!
