I started about two years ago with a 15-2 pistol pac and then I bought two more and a 7445, I sold two of the pistol pacs and the 7445and acquired two nice single 15-2s with scopes and a couple of 357 SMags. This is where it gets spooky, I was digging around this morning and I NOW have four 15-2s in assorted configurations six 357SMags all blue with many extra BAs, way more grips than I have use for and ammo I don't remember buying. I can only assume there is some kind of asexual budding going on when I'm not looking, is this normal.R  --- where did the third pistol pac go?

In an attempt to isolate this behavior I have separated my revolvers into four sub-groups putting one group back into the dark of a case as a control group=== group 2 under my wifes grow lights ===group 3 I have placed prophylactics on the barrel assemblies and group 4 I have sprayed heavily with lysol, in case it is virus related. I have taken my brother -in-law into my confidence because he told me  M1 carbines of his are exhibiting the same properties. Can anybody suggest something I've not thought of? R

Sounds to me like it twas DWAS.

Kinda like a shark feeding frenzy at times. It's sometimes hard to keep track of things with all the chum in the water. Once things settle down you can find what the havoc brought forth. It seems that you are to the point of starting to sort it all out. It's a nice problem to have, you seem to have more than you thought you had. Nice collection BTW.

Whatever you do, don't put them in a safe- it gets real bad... like tribbles.

And don't EVER feed them after midnight. smile

You sound like you have a background in biology/lab work?

Since they are reproducing on their own, I was thinking parthenogenesis.

OK Randy, this is fun! Basically your DW's are taking advantage of being locked up in the long, dark winter months, somehow creating new DW's?

OR, you are buying guns at times that you are not fully in control of your actions (and your credit card) and buying stuff that you later say "Huh, where did YOU come from?"

Inquiring minds want to know?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I did work at a laboratory in the late 80s as a production computer facilitator. After a rather bad accident were the slush on the floor ate the  glue out of my sneekers and I wound up with a nasty case of "athletes foot" that caused my toe nails to all fall off, I quit. The building is not there anymore. The third pac has been found, forgot my brother borrowed it during deer season.DA....63  You could have made millions selling cuttings from your tree.

Steve. a doppelganger is a possibility. I do not drink but I did recently have a dance with chemo and radiation. Maybe a mis-medification is the culprit. DPNM1A== can't be DWAS I'm in a program. rwsem==Tribbles?? Logical. R

I welcome remember "the trouble with Tribbles". Ron, your safe is only 1/4 full. My main safe is sardine pack. I do put in the PP cases though. The gun is a minor part of the value. I do admire your OC organization though. I'll bet it drives your wife crazy though.

Umm....that's one of the safes.  Affectionately named the Dan safe. Of course Leshia would disagree and say there is no more room in that safe.
