I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I'm not familiar with them either. Do you have any links?

Jay Scott maybe?  Jay Scott sold a lot of grips in the 70s.  Kinda like Ajax; grips for the masses.  I remember J Scott grips on an old S&W I had were "pearl" laminate over wood.  They were OK.  I haven't heard about the other maker.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I have a Catawba grip or two. One new in the box. I think they were an early supplier to Dan Wesson. Mine has no medallions. It is a target grip but I saw a finger groove on ebay. Have you heard of DWGAS. Itcan be almost as disabling as DWAS.  The good thing is you don't need an FFL or permit of any kind.

Jay Scott made grips in 70s. The company was in new jersey and made a wide range of custom non oem grips for several brands of handguns in various materials. I have a set for one of my Ruger security sixs and also set for my Colt Trooper MKIII.  They sell on ebay for 45-85 bucks depending on condition. They are pretty nice.....but not even close to LBs work !!!!
