Welcome to the forum. Do you have a barrel tool? Very important to set the gap properly. The 4" barrel has great balance. The ladiea like it. Let your wife shoot it and you can get your own favorite length.

Welcome to DWF, and thanks for posting pictures. .357 in 4" my personal favorite.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome- I have to say, the 4" config. is also my favorite for range days.
