After falling in love with it a couple of weeks ago, I ordered a new CCO from my local shop last week. I finally got to shoot it yesterday, 100 rounds of Lawman 230g to begin the break-in. No hiccups of any kind. Fantastic accuracy -- it shot a tad over an inch high at 25 feet but in an impressively tight group. I had no problems with the two Checkmate mags that came with the pistol, or with the three McCormick mags I brought along.
I just got finished cleaning and (generously) lubricating it a few minutes ago. After spending several minutes just admiring it, I thought I'd let you folks know that you have a convert.
I've been carrying either a Kimber Solo or Glock 19, depending on weather and clothing, in N82 Tactical IWB holsters. I think the CCO will eventually replace the G19 at least some of the time -- it really doesn't seem appreciably different in size or loaded weight.

I might add that I had started out looking for a Colt Defender in .45ACP before being learning about the DW CCO. After receiving the CCO I compared it to the Defender and decided there was no difference at all in concealability but a large difference in every other respect (including price). The Defender wouldn't have been a bad choice at all, but the CCO was the right decision for me.

Hello Bob. Welcome to the forum. I'm really glad you like your CCO. I have a Patriot and Guardian Duce that are fantastic shooters. Next we have to get you hooked on the DW revolvers.

Revolvers were my first love. I have a vintage 1972 Ruger Single Six convertible (bought new and used for more than 40 years of camping) and a Smith & Wesson 686 that I bought about 1982. But no Dan Wesson revolvers.
