Looking forward to participating in this forum and it has already been very useful as I have recently gone a bit crazy building my DW collection: 3 revolvers - 15-2, 744 and new mfg 715 along with 3 1911s - .45 ECO, .45 Duty Treat Valor, 9mm Pointman 9.  So I guess you could say I have the Dan Wesson bug bad.  Now I am looking for additional barrels...

Welcome to DWF, there is another Texan that will be along soon to welcome you, I'm sure

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome from PA.  Sounds like you are afflicted with DWAS and are self medicating well.  You are off to a good start on your collection.  Lots of great info here that will help further your addiction....eerr collection.

Welcome from another PA member.  You already have a good start on a fine DW collection.  A PM-9 is on my short list of items to add.  How do you find the accuracy of yours?

Hi Wes. I would be that "another" Steve (who's my brother) mentioned. Welcome aboard. It does appear you went a "bit crazy", but that's a good thing. Here in Dan Land we consider your buying habits to be symptoms ofdwas, which is not only normal, but desirable. We are addicted to cool-pics, as you might have guessed from Ron's post.

I'm "on the the other side of the river". Where do you shoot?

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

The PM-9 is really very nice and accurate. The 9mm in a 1911 reduces the muzzle flip and I find it is very easy to keep the gun on target.  The trigger is very crisp.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I generally shoot at Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville or Elm Fork Shooting Sports

You fit right in. There is also a world of grips out there to give you little thrills when the mail arrives.

Thanks for the pictures. I can see that you are a "gripaholic".

I can help with this problem, send me all the custom grips on your DW's. They will be returned to you once we agree that your "gripaholism" is under control. To assure that you stay on the Program, I have contacted UPS, FedEx, and USPS to have future grip deliveries forwarded to you Mentor (uh, ME) until further notice.

Hang tough, we will get you through this goodluck

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
