Hello everyone, I'm from upstate about a 90 minute drive from Norwich. I have a 715VH as my first revolver which I plan to hunt with next fall. I'm a chronic tinkerer so I figured a DW would fit my personality, along with archery and black powder.

Not yet, so far I'm just sorting everything out. If I get a chance I'll snap a few and post em.

Welcome from your southern border in PA.
If I lived as close as you to Norwich,  I'd have to make a trip down just once to see the place.  Wonder if Keith would give you a tour?

Where about in NY?  My roots go back to the area about 45 min. from Norwich.

Just north of Scotia, and yes, I probably will venture down to the Norwich facility sometime. I own a hunting camp outside Worcester which is about a half hr drive away. Something to do after a morning turkey hunt!

Just refinished the grip after searching around for the best fit. It's not too bad but I will make a few more test runs before settling in on one or two. Funny thing is I think the one that I like best is from one of the older designs.

Jeffry, Nice photos, really nice 4" and 6" with mount and scope. And I see another grip in the mix as well.

Welcome Home

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Bingo, born and raised in East Glenville, live in the Glenville hills now. I got three grips with the Dan plus a VH6 shroud to go with the 6" barrel too. The grip in the foreground I made along with 2 others to get an idea of what works for me for carry and for hunting. I've got to say the 6" setups shoot like a dream, but I'm still trying to get a handle on the 4". It's just me I'm sure as this is my first venture in pistols other than plinking. Glad I have a gun that shoots better than I do too, that way I always have something to improve on!

After many years of owning 15-2/715's with a variety of barrel lengths, I have finally settled on 4VH as perfect for me. Just feels, balances, and shoots right for me. The great  advantage with DW revolvers is YOU GET TO PICKcoolbig-grin
