Ron, what can you use that for exactly? I have a high def radar on my boat and use it to watch weather fronts while on the water as well as for navigation.  Can you chrono bullets with it?

'zactly.. Its a Chrony that you place by the muzzle and it captures velocity as the bullet travels down range.  No worries about light, magnets, windows, or even shooting the chrony box itself...

VERY Kewl!  Let us know how that works out.  I've always been apprehensive about shooting through the chronograph 'antenna' and worried about hitting the unit.  The radar sounds like the way to go.

That's seriously cool. I'm going to have to check that bad boy out.

My wife and I usually don't get each other anything huge for Christmas because we"ll usually get each other stuff throughout the year. Well this year there were a couple things I got her that she had made comments during the year that I thought I was doing great for remembering. Got these things for her and she loved them.  She got me a new pair of boots and a few other little things. Thought we were all done and she says "well, I got you one more thing....." goes into the other room comes back with this long box. She said I remember you looking at this over and over and I know you chose not to get it because we were planning our Summer vacation.  I was stumped. Open it and it's a SKB/Ithica 600 that I had been looking at for some time. A gentleman had it we would talk about it from time to time. I finally put it to rest thinking I'd never see it again.

It's gorgeous and I have to say I have the best wife in the entire world. HAHAHA  I apologize for the quality of th pictures. The lighting was awful. I'll do my best to get better ones.

That sure is pretty. Over/unders are my favorite.

Looks like Santa was good to all of you! I never worry about me this time of year! Still working on getting gifts out to the family.   Will be working on some remodel in the new year for the wife, at the same time I hope to plan into this a Dave place.

Family gathered we ate, exchanged gifts laughed, maybe even cried a little, then shared stories.   My son in law is over seas so the care packages were packed and readied for shipment!

Stay safe this new year and keep shooting!

PS: if Bruce finds another one of those printers laying around and it happens to end on my porch heck I won't mind!

...Fortunately, work is a little slower over the next couple of months. Once it's built and I figure out how to use it, then I need to get an .stl file made of a Dan Wesson Target grip big-grin

Once you design the stl. I'd be more than happy letting you know how well it prints with PLA.

Guess up until now, I had thought the 500 series had blued receivers and the 600 polished? In any event I'm envious and someday hope to find either in 30" 12 ga with full over modified. Like Mirokus, I suspect it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Now that you say that I will have to double check. I could be wrong. This is what the gentleman told me when we would discuss it among many other things. Sometimes we'd just sit and talk about what was happening in the world over coffee.  Looks like I've got some research to do. I LOVE IT!!!

I got my pic printed on a canvas wrap and it's hanging on the wall now. (BD smiles) 🙂

What  where are the pics of picture wrap?    Stay warm all and stay in if you are in the path of the nasty weather heading east!

WE just had some crazy ice here!
