Here is the third installment of the Reloading Roundtable, Equipment Basics.

This edition answers the following questions:

1) So what’s the deal with all the different types of presses?

2) What are the different kinds of dies all about? Do they need special care?

3) I know there are different ways to measure powder…..

4) Please tell me about reloading manuals.

5) How many (and which) manuals do you use regularly? How many manuals do you have?

6) Out of all those manuals, pick the one that is your essential, “must have” manual.

7) I am a Beginner Reloader. Please pick a “Bundled Kit” for me to get started with.

What should I add to the Kit you recommended to get me off to a good start?

9) What else should I know about reloading equipment, and its proper use?

There has been much discussion lately about the possibility of revolvers returning to the Dan Wesson lineup and we feel that it’s time for the DWF to get involved.  I have created a form that you can complete to be included on the petition that will be mailed to Alice Poluchova the president of CZ-USA.

We all have hopes, desires, and wishlists for the new Dan Wesson revolver. Once they are back in production, we should make our desires known, our objective at this point is to support the manufacture and sale of any Dan Wesson revolver that meets this criteria:

We anticipate that the new Dan Wesson Revolver will reflect the original design characteristics of Strength, Durability, Simplicity, and Adaptability.

I would like for us to take a moment to reflect and remember all the brave men and women who have fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can have the freedoms we currently enjoy.

Some folks have requested a calendar but the original supplies are long gone.  Rather than print up the same calendar as before I have created a limited edition.  The images in this calendar are those submitted by the winners of last years contest.  I have tried to include the 3 images submitted by each member.  Hopefully I didn’t miss anyone!

I only have 5 of these so they were a little more expense to due to the quantity.   These will be offered for $20 (shipping is included).
